Bates is still in his rookie contract. He is in a contract year in 2021. If he plays anywhere near the level he played last year, expect Cincinnati to pay up to keep him around.

summary:

Dynasty IDP Jessie Bates is a young, consistent, and dependable safety in real life and fantasy. Expect him to compete for a Top 10 Safety finish in 2021 and dynasty. There is some risk that he could be playing for another team next year, though the fantasy tag would be on the table to keep him in Cincinnati if a long-term deal isn’t reached.
