IDPEngineer is, you guessed it… an engineer. I live in KC (Go Chiefs!) and have played Dynasty IDP for over a decade.

I started building my model while trying to identify high-upside rookie wide receivers. I have tinkered with and expanded the model over the years, resulting in a useful tool for any fellow dynasty IDP enthusiasts.

IDPE is dedicated to advancing the best fantasy football format: Dynasty IDP.

One of the most difficult aspects of Dynasty IDP is deciding when to draft defensive players. There are almost unlimited resources for offensive players, but very little information is available to help determine a defensive player’s value, especially in comparison to offensive players.

IDPE employs analytics to determine the overall dynasty rankings for players from every position and then combines offensive and defensive player dynasty rankings. This eliminates the GUESSING that often occurs when deciding when to start drafting defensive players. It also helps to value trades that include both offensive and defensive players.
